DIFD-5 - Common Reasons Verification System Unable to Confirm Policy

This situation could happen for one of the following reasons:         

  • There could be a discrepancy between the vehicle identification number (VIN) listed on your policy and what is listed on your vehicle title. Please verify that the numbers match.
  • Your insurance company may not yet have reported information about your policy to the Department of Revenue.

There are rare occasions when the Electronic Insurance Verification System is not accessible due to technical difficulties.
