The Department of Revenue expects that insurance companies will automate the login process on their SFTP website. This can be handled by a script, or it can be supported using key pairs issued by the Department.
Per state policy, all user ID passwords must be reset every three months. To avoid processing new passwords every 90 days, insurers should utilize key pairs instead of a manual login.
The directory structure is available now in the user guide, so insurers can begin scripting.
You may download the user guide on the website the Department has created for insurer-specific information for this program. Insurance companies must first register on the web portal so that folders may be created for each NAIC code.
