IC-5 - Circumstances Where Informal Conferences are Not Allowed

An informal conference is not allowed in the following situations:

• If you have been denied a penalty waiver by the Department of Revenue’s Penalty Waiver Unit, you cannot schedule a conference to review that denial.
• If you have filed a lawsuit in chancery court to challenge your proposed assessment, you cannot also have an informal conference
