GI-15 - Title and Registration in a Minor's Name

A vehicle may be titled and registered in a minor’s name. Tennessee law does not currently have an age requirement to title and register a vehicle in the state. Therefore, if the registrant provides the necessary documentation to support titling and registering the vehicle in the minor’s name, the transaction will be processed.
