TNTAP Login-12 – Logins for Businesses Owned by Spouses

A taxpayer that owns a business with a spouse should create the TNTAP logon under the primary spouse’s social security number. Taxpayers will need the following:

  • Customer Type (Sole Proprietorship)
  • ID Type and ID (SSN or ITIN)
  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number

After you have created your TNTAP logon, you will log in and select “Manage Accounts” under the “I Want To” section to “Gain access to an Account.” To gain access you will need the following:

  • Account type
  • Account ID
  • Zip code
  • Letter ID or a recent payment amount

The secondary spouse may request to gain access to the account(s) with the above instructions. However, the spouse must select that the account belongs to someone else because the account is registered in our system under the primary spouse’s SSN. If an account is added as belonging to someone else, it will show up in TNTAP under the client account tab.
