Aircraft-14 - Aircraft Projects, Such as Aircraft Kits, Taxable in Tennessee

Aircraft projects are taxable. In Tennessee, there is a one-time consumer use tax on all tangible personal property used, stored, or imported in this state. Therefore, all parts and kits are subject to use tax regardless of the completion status of the aircraft.
