My business received a Business Relief Program payment, and I recently received a 1099-G form. It looks like there may be some formatting issues. What do I do?

The Department of Revenue recently mailed 1099G tax forms to payment recipients of the Tennessee Business Relief Program (BRP).  These forms had minor formatting issues,  and listed the payment recipient’s name as both the payer and the recipient by mistake. The department will mail updated 1099Gs that fix these issues the week of February 1, 2021. These new forms will have the “corrected” box checked
