Why did I receive an eligibility notification if I am not eligible?

Prior to sending a notification, the department evaluates a business’ potential eligibility based on information available in its tax system. However, this information may be incomplete or inconsistent with current business activity. If the information that you provided on your pre-award certification form indicates that your business is not eligible, you will be notified that you do not qualify for a relief payment.
