If the company and individual jointly own the vehicle, there shouldn’t be a problem titling it jointly, using the conjunction “and”. Nothing in the law limits joint ownership to individuals. The statute only says that joint ownership of a motor vehicle by two or more “persons” shall be indicated on the certificate of title by the word “and”. TCA 55-3-114(b) (2) “Persons” is not defined for this chapter, but it generally includes business entities.
