Using One of Last Three Payments: Business Tax and TNTAP

For 2018 and beyond, business tax is filed on a consolidated basis.  This means that all locations are filed and paid together.

In previous years, you most likely made separate payments for city and county business tax. To gain access to your current business tax account using one of your last three payment amounts, you will need to use the total combined payments for a previous tax filing, all locations included.

Example: If you paid $22 in tax for the county and $22 for the city in 2017, the TNTAP system recognizes these payment as $44 total.  You would use $44 to gain access to your business tax account.
