How do I get a receipt for my professional privilege tax payment?

Once you have submitted your professional privilege tax payment, please print the confirmation page as this serves as the confirmation and receipt of payment.

If you have a TNTAP logon, you can also print a receipt of payment by following these steps:

  1. Log on to TNTAP here: https://tntap.tn.gov/eservices.
  2. Click on the Submissions tab.
  3. Under the tabs here, you will find requests you have submitted, (example: Credit Card Payment, TNTAP Registration). Click View Submissions to see everything submitted.
  4. To view a submitted payment, click on the title of the request (ex: Credit Card Payment). Under the I Want To header, click view or Print. Clicking print will allow you to print a payment summary of your submission or save it as a PDF.

If you do not have a TNTAP logon, you can look up your request by going to TNTAP here: https://tntap.tn.gov/eservices.  Under “Additional Services”, click “Retrieve a Saved Submission” and provide your email address and the confirmation number to view the information you submitted.  You can then print this information from your computer if you’d like.

The Tennessee Taxpayer Access Point (TNTAP) also offers a professional privilege tax account status lookup that can be used to verify your standing with the Tennessee Department of Revenue.
