What is an account ID?

In TNTAP, account numbers are now referred to as account IDs. Your account number can be found on correspondence issued by the Department of Revenue. Account IDs are 10 digits long followed by a three-letter code which indicates the account type (ex: 123456789-BUS).

If you are trying to add access to your sales tax, business tax, automobile rental surcharge tax, or franchise and excise tax account in TNTAP, you can use your old account number or a location ID in the account ID field to gain access to the account.
