You're asked to select the type of payment you are making. For example, if you are making a payment on a return you filed through a provider, or on paper, select “Return Payment.” If you have received an assessment or you have an existing tax debt, select “Bill Payment.” If you are paying for a specific account type, select “Account Payment”.
